Q&A

Let us answer some commonly asked questions. Feel free to call or email if you have any additional questions.

What vaccinations does my pet need?

  • Dogs- Bordetella, Distemper, Parvo, and Rabies vaccinations.

  • Cats- Upper Respiratory and Rabies.

*Your vet may talk to you about other options and may give you additional recommendations for your specific pet.

What should I bring for overnight stays?

You may want to bring your pets current food, however, we are feeding Iams as a main meal. Most pets like to come in from play and find their stuff in their run. We have plenty of beds, but something from home is always good, especially for older pets.

Does my pet need to have his anal sac expressed during grooming?

No, most pets will express those naturally as they relieve themselves. Our job is to monitor and let you know if they look impacted. If impaction is suspected, your vet should contacted for further advise.

Does my pet get to go out for potty breaks during grooming visits?

Yes, we will make a quick potty break before they start the groom. They will have a blanket and a bowl of water at all times during their grooming appointment.

What is the exercise routine for the overnight dogs?

We start our morning walks at 6:30am. We have four yards and several runs for private outside time. We are having breakfast by 9am. If the weather is good, the pets that are in a play group will go back with their group. If not comfortable with groups we will be in and out on leash. During the day our routine is to be out in groups as much as possible, with last walks at 6pm. Older pets will need shorter amounts of exercise and more nap time.

Is anyone onsite overnight?

Yes, we have onsite personnel available as well as cameras both inside and outside of the building for monitoring your pet. The onsite person is monitoring the pets but is not available to open after hours as that will be disruptive of night time routines.
